Mr Lawrence Chikwanha is the University Librarian for Great Zimbabwe University a post he was appointed to in 2007. He started his career in librarianship in 1991 at the Ministry of Finance where he worked as a Senior Librarian before leaving in 1995 to embark on a career of academic librarianship that started at the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and has taken him to a number of university libraries among them Africa University and Chinhoyi University of Technology before landing him at his current post at Great Zimbabwe University. Apart from his vast experience gained from a number of libraries that he has worked for, Mr. Chikwanha has also played a pivotal role in the promotion and development of the library profession. During his stint with Africa University, he spearheaded the revival of the Manicaland Branch of the Zimbabwe Library Association (ZimLA), which he chaired between 1999 and 2000. This ensued his ticket to the ZimLA National Council and ultimately in 2001, he was elected National Chairman of ZimLA, a position he held until 2003. Mr. Chikwanha also actively participated in the formation of the vibrant Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium (ZULC) in 2003 and has served as the ZULC Secretary and ZULC Chairperson for a number of terms.
Gwanda State University
Phillip Ndhlovu is an accomplished librarian, holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Library and Information Science (LIS) and a Master of Science in LIS. With his extensive education and expertise, he has made significant contributions to the library field. Currently, Mr. Ndhlovu serves as the Acting Librarian at Gwanda State University, a position he has held since January 2022. In this role, he is responsible for managing and overseeing the university's library resources and operations. He plays a vital role in ensuring that students, faculty, and staff have access to a wide range of information and resources needed for teaching, learning, and research.

Ms Chibanda is well experienced in the management of academic libraries.
